In a community economy we take collective action by acknowledging how our survival is connected with that of others.
Work is an important part of our individual well-being as it provides the means for survival and is a strong part of our sense of identity. But it is also important to consider our working lives in the context of our own overall well-being and the well-being of other humans and the planet.
Starting with securing decent working conditions and wages for vulnerable workers, people are taking a range of actions that attend to the well-being of others.
